We are currently seeking a Systems Support Senior Analyst to join our team in Mahwah, New Jersey, United States.

The Field Certification (FC) Team is a critical component of UPS I.T.’s quality assurance strategy. Since 1996, we have safeguarded UPS technology infrastructure by validating hardware and software implementations before deployment. Our mission is to ensure reliability, compatibility, and performance across all systems within our testing scope.

What you’ll be doing We are seeking a detail‑oriented and methodical Quality Assurance Tester/System Support Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will receive training and mentorship to support daily certification activities for third‑party and UPS applications. This role involves executing structured test plans, validating system configurations, and ensuring compliance with established standards.

Key Daily Responsibilities

Supports the execution, reporting, and successful completion of QA activities for UPS and third‑party releases that have completed User Acceptance Testing and are prior to Production Beta Testing.

Receives detailed instructions (test procedures) to work with the required user community (UPS App / Dev Team) to understand business requirements and uphold quality for each release by ensuring comprehensive end‑to‑end testing coverage.

Configures test environments and validates testing relevance of various physical devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers.

Assists with the setup and testing of virtual VMWare ESXi operating system builds as needed.

Executes UPS App / Dev team‑provided test procedures to validate:

Core functionality

Co‑existence with other applications and infrastructure software

Communication interfaces and external device connectivity

Application recovery and back‑out processes

Documents and communicates test results to stakeholders and management through daily written and verbal updates.

Contributes to the development of automated baseline and regression test scripts using Ranorex and PowerShell as required.

Completes all assigned training within designated timelines.

Provides mentorship and support to new team members as needed.

Knowledge and Attributes Operating Systems:

Windows 10 & 11 – Intermediate proficiency

Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025 – Working knowledge preferred

Linux – A plus but not required

Working knowledge of Local Area Networks

Familiarity with programming or scripting languages: C++, Java, Shell Scripting

Exposure to automated testing tools is a plus

VMWare ESXi – A plus but not required

Reliable internet connection for consistent remote access

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certified Quality Assurance Tester (preferred).

Workplace type

40‑hour week hybrid schedule (3 days on‑site, 2 days remote) within Eastern Time Zone (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

Experience

5+ years of Operating Systems experience, in Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025 and Windows 10 & 11.

2+ years of working on Linux.

Working knowledge of Local Area Networks.

2+ years of scripting and programming experience with C++, Java, Shell Scripting.

Exposure to automated testing tools is a plus.

VMWare ESXi – A plus but not required.
