Launch Teams is looking for a Licensed Quality Auditor for Greensboro, NC
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibility of this role is to provide on-site technicians quality oversite by guiding them in best practices, daily assignments and mentoring. • Oversee thorough visual inspections of aircraft, enforcing adherence to FAA regulations and company policies • Foster a culture of safety and excellence thru routine auditing • Document inspection findings and generate detailed reports to communicate discrepancies and necessary corrective actions • Collaborate with customers and maintenance teams to facilitate effective processes and resolve technical challenges • Participate in meetings and contribute information as needed • On-site LEAN and 6S visual support • Other duties as requested by Director of Quality and Safety, Chief Inspector, or Vice President of Quality KNOWLEDDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • Self-starting, goal-oriented individual • Strong frontline leadership skills • In-depth knowledge of FAA regulation, aircraft systems and inspection methodologies • Daily planning and execution • multitasking and organizational skills • Ability to build rapport with both internal Team Members, and clients • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written • Ability to travel • Meticulous approach to work, with an eye for detail • Ability to maintain high-quality work and meet strict deadlines • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Must be able to self-supervise and maintain the highest professional communication and appearance standards • Ability to adhere to LAUNCH’s Mission and Values MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS • A&P licenses required • Previous inspection experience in modifications and MRO • 5 years documented transport category aircraft modification, repair and maintenance experience • Proficient with computer software (Microsoft Office products) LAUNCH offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
