Job Summary
The Lead Application Systems Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing, building, testing, and implementing information systems and solutions. You will bring valuable expertise in assigned software applications and various system environments, while being accountable for project schedules, plans, reviews, and timelines. In this role, you will support technical aspects of system installations, customizations, testing, and production support for complex information systems. You will coordinate tasks within project teams and lead complex problem resolution efforts. Additionally, you will design training programs and deliver training sessions for end-users and Information Systems staff. This position reports directly to the Manager and works under the oversight of the Lead Application Analyst.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Associate's degree and two (2) years of experience or four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree. Licenses/Certifications:
None required. Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in large corporate systems development and implementation, particularly in Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) with experience in system analysis, design, building, testing, and implementation preferred. Proven ability to resolve complex issues. Experience in supporting and assisting fellow analysts. Demonstrated growth pattern in leadership capabilities. Strong planning and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Broad experience in a large, complex corporate Information System. Deep knowledge of application support, development tools, and methodologies. Key Responsibilities Technical Administration Provide technical expertise in support of software applications across various system environments. Conduct analysis, design, building, testing, and implementation of computer programs and systems. Apply information systems theories and methodologies effectively to meet our technical requirements. Planning & Coordinating Develop and execute project plans according to established schedules. Maintain effective project coordination and communication. Document all project plans and report status to management regularly. Systems Development Translate user needs into technical solutions, conducting reviews and walkthroughs to enhance productivity and service levels. Technical Standards Advocate for technical development and application support standards throughout the organization. Application Support Utilize in-depth technical knowledge to assist colleagues with development projects and complex problem-solving. Participate in after-hours support as needed. Training Prepare and conduct training for staff to improve skills and knowledge in software systems. Customer Service Provide outstanding customer service by being courteous and attentive to all inquiries. Quickly acknowledge customer needs to facilitate resolution. Additional Duties Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned by management. Ensure safe care for patients and staff, adhering to Memorial Hermann policies and procedures. Promote professional growth by meeting educational and competency requirements; assist in mentoring less experienced staff. Demonstrate commitment to caring for all community members through personalized service practices.
