Dining Room Manager – Private Country Club
Brookside Country Club is seeking an experienced and dynamic Dining Room Manager to lead our front-of-house dining operations. This individual will serve as the face of hospitality in our dining venues-ensuring an exceptional member and guest experience that reflects the high standards of our club. The ideal candidate will be:
Personable and approachable, engaging with members and staff to foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Visible and hands-on, consistently present on the floor to ensure seamless service and positive guest interactions. A strong leader and trainer, capable of developing staff, setting and maintaining performance standards, and building a motivated team culture. Hospitality-driven, with a deep understanding of service excellence, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Organized and proactive, skilled in planning, staffing, and communication to ensure smooth daily operations and successful events. Collaborative, working closely with the culinary and management teams to align service, presentation, and club standards. Committed to consistency, monitoring all aspects of service, cleanliness, and presentation to ensure the club's expectations are met and exceeded. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily dining room operations, including à la carte and private events. Recruit, train, and mentor service staff in accordance with club standards. Implement and enforce service protocols, sequence of service, and member relations standards. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Events team to ensure timely, coordinated service. Manage scheduling, labor costs, and inventory controls. Handle member feedback with professionalism, empathy, and follow-through. Support and uphold the club's mission, values, and traditions through visible leadership and consistent excellence. Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in upscale dining or private club settings. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in POS systems and service management software preferred. Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation & Benefits:
