Oliver Wyman’s Private Equity team in North America is looking to hire consultants to support its rapid growth. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal lifecycle: from opportunity identification through due diligence and post-transaction value realization. We take a multi-specialist approach, bringing teams with deep industry and functional expertise, supported by proprietary approaches and a world-class network to help clients achieve differentiated results on deals and post-transaction. We have completed hundreds of engagements for leading private equity firms across North America, Europe, the Middle East, China and Southeast Asia creating sustainable shareholder value. We are not typical managers consultants. We provide industry- and discipline-specific knowledge and expertise to amplify our impact and help shape the future for our clients. The team is looking for experienced professionals who are already working in or are interested in focusing on one or a subset of various industries, serving private equity clients. These industries include FinTech, InsurTech, Communications, Media and Technology (CMT), Education, Industrials, Aviation/Aerospace, Government & Defense and Healthcare. Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have most of the following: An undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program 1-3 years of pre- and/or post-transaction experience working in private equity at a management consulting or PE firm Some professional working experience with exposure to commercial and operational due diligence Knowledge of customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.) A strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings Initiative and willingness to learn new skills and apply existing ones Creativity to develop novel ideas to solve client problems Aptitude for analytical work and ability to identify key issues in complex challenges Willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with a talented team Fluent in English Why join us?

The applicable base pay for this role is $110,000-$120,000 plus performance-based bonus. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. We offer a competitive total rewards package including health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K and other programs.
