The Director for the US Medical Affairs Myelofibrosis Team will leverage strong clinical and scientific expertise to support medical affairs activities, including evidence generation, external scientific engagement, and providing medical insights to internal stakeholders. The role focuses on contributing to the medicine strategy, developing and executing tactical plans, supporting external engagement, and interpreting data to recommend medical strategies for Myelofibrosis. Responsibilities

Medical Affairs Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the US Medical Affairs Plan (UMAP) and strategic launch plans for Myelofibrosis; Lead planning and execution of medical tactics, including medical material development, communication plans, and application of customer insights. Evidence Generation: Provide input into the design of Phase IIIB/IV studies and selection of investigator-sponsored studies aligned with global franchises; Recommend scientifically appropriate measures within health outcomes research to meet US reimbursement needs. External Engagement: Collaborate with field medical teams to lead/contribute to scientific engagement between GSK and external communities to advance understanding of Myelofibrosis, disease management, and patient care. US Environment Integration: Integrate US environment needs and medical voice of the customer (patients, providers, payers) into medical affairs strategy; Ensure US-specific needs for medical and health outcomes evidence generation are represented in global medical work. Medical Governance: Apply sound medical governance to all activities, ensuring scientific integrity and compliance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to deliver medical activities supporting lifecycle management and optimal patient care. Competitive Knowledge: Understand, interpret, and apply external environment and competitive knowledge to define the medical story for Myelofibrosis. Support Leadership: Support the US Medical Affairs Leader (USMAL) or US Executive Medical Lead, Hematology as needed. Basic Qualifications

Master’s Degree, PharmD, PhD, Allied Health Professional or other scientific degree. At least 5 years industry experience in a comparable role. Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in oncology or hematology, with a focus on myelofibrosis. Deep clinical and scientific understanding, including clinical study design for evidence generation and data evaluation. Awareness of the US healthcare environment and external customer needs. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to deliver on key responsibilities and adapt to change. Flexible thinking to analyze external environments and translate insights into strategy. Customer-driven approach to understanding external needs. Ability to build relationships and work effectively with others. Capability to act as a teacher, coach, and mentor to team members.
