Base pay range
$55.00/hr - $58.00/hr We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Usability Engineer to join our UX team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in human factors engineering, usability testing (formative & summative), FMEA, and UX design, along with hands-on experience in Figma and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Plan, conduct, and analyze formative and summative usability tests. Develop test protocols, recruit participants, and deliver actionable insights. Perform FMEA to identify and mitigate usability risks. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma. Collaborate with designers/developers to align UX goals with technical feasibility. Conduct user and task analysis; prepare detailed reports and documentation. Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and IEC usability standards (as applicable). Lead design reviews and mentor junior team members. Present findings to stakeholders and own usability deliverables across projects. Requirements
5+ years of experience in usability engineering or UX research/design. Strong knowledge of usability principles, testing methodologies, and human factors. Proficiency in Figma, data analysis, and documentation tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Seniority level
