Overview As Director of Business Development, you will be the driving force behind strategic growth initiatives, leading client acquisition and expansion efforts across key markets. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex shopper marketing and connected commerce data into actionable insights that shape future strategy and deliver measurable impact.
Responsibilities
Lead Revenue Growth: Develop and execute innovative lead generation strategies to meet and exceed new business goals for CROSSMARK.
Strategic Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline using enterprise-level lead qualification frameworks, targeting both new prospects and existing clients for full-service integration.
Client-Facing Leadership: Collaborate with Business Strategists to deliver high-impact, top-to-top presentations that influence senior stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
Contract & Pricing Alignment: Partner with Deal Desk to ensure accurate pricing and timely contract execution aligned with scope and client expectations.
Analytics & Measurement Strategy: Own all analytics and measurement initiatives, leveraging proprietary frameworks to guide shopper marketing and connected commerce strategies.
Insightful Storytelling: Synthesize complex data into compelling narratives that build trust, demonstrate value, and influence client decision-making.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field required.
Experience : 5–8 years of progressive experience in business development, with a minimum of 3 years in a shopper marketing agency or similar environment focused on CPG clients.

Business Acumen: Proven ability to prospect new business through industry research and cold outreach, build a robust pipeline, and close deals effectively.
Strategic Storytelling: Skilled in crafting compelling narratives and selling ideas to senior business leaders.
Presentation Excellence: Stellar presentation skills with the ability to lead and engage client meetings at the executive level.
Analytical Thinking: Strong capability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business solutions.
Relationship Building: Adept at cultivating long-term, trust-based client relationships.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter with a passion for innovation and growth.
Collaborative Leadership: High energy, positive thinker, confident, and consultative in approach.
