We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Commercial Property Manager to assist in effectively managing Westdale’s retail properties and one office building in DFW, including historic Deep Ellum, and two retail properties in Atlanta, Georgia. $26.44 - $31.25 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position) Location:

Dallas–Fort Worth area (DFW) and Atlanta, Georgia Note:

This position requires working days, hours, and occasional evenings/weekends as project needs arise. A valid Texas driver’s license is required. Responsibilities

Assist in managing occupancy of properties as directed by the Commercial Property Manager, including tenant correspondence, follow-up on past-due balances, preparation of lease paperwork, and maintaining tenant and vendor insurance certificates Code and process property management invoices for timely payment Perform clerical duties in support of the Commercial Property Manager and the Commercial division (filing, faxing, copying, collating, researching as needed) Develop and maintain positive tenant relations and maintain professional relationships with contractors and tenants Produce monthly statements and aged receivables notices Greet tenants, vendors, and guests in a professional, welcoming manner Address maintenance issues timely with the Commercial Property Manager; assist in maintaining service contracts Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Commercial Property Manager Qualifications

Three to five years of office, retail, or industrial experience is required (not apartment communities) Prior experience in office mid-rise, office high-rise, retail, or industrial property management accounting systems and processes Yardi Voyager proficiency strongly preferred Accounting knowledge and mathematical aptitude Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Basic skills in Angus & Impak Work Order systems preferred Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent people and relationship management skills Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills Must be able to work independently and with a team Must demonstrate initiative and sound judgment Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Benefits
