The Ostomy Care Product Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Management, is responsible for supporting the strategic and tactical execution of the US Ostomy Care product portfolio to drive growth and market share. This role involves close collaboration with Global Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Operations, Downstream Marketing, and Clinical teams to support new product launches, lifecycle management, and market positioning. The Product Manager will contribute to market analysis, business case development, and go-to-market strategies while ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives of the US Ostomy Care portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap Support: Assist in defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for the US Ostomy Care portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and voice-of-customer initiatives to identify opportunities and inform product decisions. Market Strategy Collaboration: Collaborate with global marketing teams to provide input on portfolio strategy and resource allocation. Business Case Development & Product Lifecycle Management: Assist in developing business cases and financial models to support new product initiatives; support end-to-end lifecycle management, including product launches and portfolio rationalization. Commercialization & Go-to-Market Support: Partner with marketing and sales teams to execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and sales collateral development; support product launch activities, including sales training and customer education initiatives. Post-Launch Monitoring & Improvement: Monitor product performance and collect customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement; assist in post-launch reviews and analyzing performance against established metrics and KPIs. Continuous Improvement: Maintain product performance dashboards, conduct portfolio analysis, prepare demand planning, and analyze product usage trends; identify opportunities and refine marketing initiatives with key stakeholders. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to validate product concepts and gather market insights; translate product benefits into customer and patient outcomes in presentations and discussions. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives. Skills & Experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years relevant business experience with at least 3 years in medical device marketing, engineering, sales, or clinical roles. Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and customer feedback. Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build stakeholder relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). Experience in product management, ideally with exposure to new product introductions or launches in the medical device industry. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical practices in the medical device industry is a plus. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and deliver actionable insights.
