The Role We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Director of Sales - Brand Partnerships to be our first dedicated sales hire, someone who can own the full sales cycle and close six/seven-figure deals. You’ll bring in new brand partners while helping design the sales infrastructure that will scale with us (pricing frameworks, CRM, reporting cadence, and category strategy).
This is a fast-moving startup role, ideal for someone who thrives wearing multiple hats, building from scratch, and driving results with limited structure. You’ll work directly with the founders and our marketing team to build meaningful campaigns that deliver value for both brands and fans.
What You’ll Do
Own the full sales cycle: from outreach to closing six and seven-figure brand deals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, agencies, and media buyers.
Sell across the Enjoy Basketball ecosystem: podcasts, YouTube shows, short-form series, newsletter, and live events.
Develop and execute creative, integrated campaigns that align with our content and audience.
Establish scalable sales processes, pricing frameworks, and reporting systems.
Create sales materials, case studies, and performance reports that demonstrate ROI and key campaign metrics for partners.
Manage renewals, upsells, and long-term growth plans with key accounts while contributing insights to category and go-to-market strategy.
Who You Are
5-8+ years in brand partnerships, ad sales, or integrated marketing, ideally in sports, creator, or digital media.
Proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing six and seven figure deals.
Deep relationships across key brand and agency categories.
Experience selling across multiple content platforms / media channels.
Hands-on operator who can both close deals and build systems from scratch.
Confident, curious, and self-starting, thrives in fast-moving, founder-led environments.
Scrappy, solutions-oriented, and excited to build with a small team that moves fast.
Passionate about sports, with basketball knowledge a strong plus.
