Job Overview We are searching for an SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Senior Consultant with 5+ years of experience in SAP Integrations (SAP Cloud Integration, CI Data Services, PI/PO) and Java Application Development. This position will be a hybrid of technical BTP Integration Suite work along with team‑lead responsibility for the technical skills development plan for a group of four newly certified BTP/CAPM junior developers. The successful candidate will combine Integration Suite competence with strong mentoring experience.
Requirements
SAP: SAP PI 7.0, SAP PI 7.1, NW PO 7.31/7.4/7.5 (AEX/SAP BPM), ECC
RDBMS: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
Tools: TOAD, SoapUI, MySQL GUI
Programming languages: C and/or other 4GL languages with Object‑Oriented programming concepts
Scripting languages: Python, Shell, or Bash
Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Database technologies and data modelling, preferably with HANA
Network protocols, database schema, and software development lifecycle
DevOps practices and tools: GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
Responsibilities
Maintain a sound SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI production environment.
Configure SAP BTP environments, instances, roles, and cloud connections.
Develop process automation between systems using complex workflow in Cloud Platform Integration.
Use SAP APIs for autonomous deployment and update of CPI artifacts.
Design, build, support, and monitor CPI interfaces; develop Groovy, Java, XSL mappings, EDI, XML communications, proxies, interface definitions, and XSDs.
Tune performance and handle errors in Cloud Platform Integration.
Configure RFC, SOAP, REST, IDOC with SAP CPI.
Communicate between IBP and file system using CPI Data Services; develop processes and tasks.
Other Skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Eagerness to learn quickly and effectively.
Team‑working mindset.
High‑level understanding of Machine Learning and AI for process improvement.
Education and Experience
5‑10 years’ experience; bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Mobility
Hybrid work with in‑person, onsite project work/leadership/mentoring sessions via onsite days (minimum 6‑8 days/month).
