Overview Location: 02250 GCMG Charlotte OBGYN: Morehead - Obstetrics/Gynecology
Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Exemplify caring and compassionate customer service to create an excellent patient experience
Provide exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients and families in sensitive situations
Demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment; work cohesively on a team and independently with minimal supervision
Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, and arrival/departure desk activities according to standards to ensure accuracy and outstanding patient experience
Encourage patient utilization of front-end technology during the registration process
Enter and maintain confidential and accurate patient information including insurance, billing, and payment information; assist billing functions or direct to appropriate billing office
Demonstrate proficiency with emergency codes and applicable federal and state healthcare regulations
Monitor inventory and stock medications, narcotics, and emergency medications/equipment
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: Computer experience required; customer relations experience required
Preferred: Experience with Medical Records Software; front desk practice experience
Physical Requirements Must be able to sit for long periods and work in a fast-paced office environment. Should be able to bend and lift up to 10 lbs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Pay Range: $19.45 - $29.20 per hour
