Ensures safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing operative procedures. Renders nursing care within the surgical suite. Circulates or scrubs on all surgical procedures. Responsible for pre-surgical assessment of the patient, the intra-operative process and the post procedure discharge. ALL REGISTERED NURSES will render professional nursing care to patients, support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The RN shall support Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities and patient satisfaction. Education

ASN or Nursing Diploma, required Completion of a post-graduate course in the Operating Room required Licensure

Current and active CA RN license Current BLS certification from American Heart Association Preferred
