Overview
Technical Program Manager III, Manufacturing Test NPI, Cloud Supply Chain role focused on leading manufacturing test programs for next-generation hardware products, ensuring manufacturability, testability, and quality as they transition from design to high-volume production. You will collaborate with Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Quality Assurance to define test strategies, drive test development, and resolve technical challenges. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company. As part of the role, you will lead the development and execution of manufacturing test programs for cloud compute and storage, networking, and rack-level products, with emphasis on Rack Integration test and ICT test within the Google Cloud roadmap. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for test development initiatives related to the Google Cloud product roadmap, with a primary focus on Rack Integration test and ICT test. Collaborate with test engineers and product managers to understand manufacturing test requirements and translate them into test strategies. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, addressing challenges to ensure on-time delivery. Drive communication with internal stakeholders and partners for manufacturing test development status via reviews and dashboards, and work with design engineering teams to manage dependencies for test development. Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program management. Experience driving New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing engineering for hardware products. Preferred: 8 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in hardware development environments. Preferred: 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience managing technical projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Experience in test engineering, with knowledge of software and hardware testing principles and methodologies.
