Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to long-term care patients.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Achieve performance targets and contribute to team success.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Utilize technology to track patient data and outcomes effectively.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
Experience/Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of Maine with long-term care experience.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to meet performance targets and contribute to team success.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.
Experience in monitoring and documenting patient care and progress.
Proficiency in utilizing technology for tracking patient data and outcomes.
Experience in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Willingness to assist in training and orienting new staff members.
