As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a positive atmosphere, as you conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $31.83 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thu – 05:00 AM to 03:00 PM

Fri – 05:00 AM to 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned government locations and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and check identification or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.

Support law enforcement and/or emergency personnel, as directed, during incidents or investigations within the government environment.

Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disruptions or unwanted behavior at the location.

Operate communication devices and security-related equipment as required for the post.

What We’re Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Drug screen as permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

A armed guard card or license is required.

A guard card or license is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
