Operational Systems Integrator . This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions. Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure. Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs. Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact. Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree plus 8-years of relevant experience, or Master\'s degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or an Associate\'s degree plus 10-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12-years of relevant experience may be considered. Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Able to obtain an IAT-I certification, such as: A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCP Systems administration including installing, configuring, and maintaining bare metal servers and virtual machines to meet all customer security requirements. Responsible for secure infrastructure and vulnerability corrections, data security, compliance, and backups and recovery. Maintain SSPs, STE/STN requirements via RMF, Netseer, SEAR logging, patching, IAVMs, McAfee, and UAM. Strong Windows experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Linux Systems Administration Experience deploying and maintaining nginx Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana Experience with SELinux and FIPS

Compensation

$153,000 - $171,000 a year

The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other laws.
