TEEMA Solutions Group
Revolutionizing Construction Through AI & Robotics
The global housing crisis demands revolutionary solutions, not incremental improvements. We are a technology company architecting the
future of construction
through advanced AI and robotics. Our flagship systems represent a fundamental reimagining of how homes are built, delivering unprecedented speed, precision, and affordability. We are seeking a mechanical engineer and roboticist to serve as our
Hardware & Robotics Lead . This isn't a traditional engineering management role—you will be a
hands-on technical leader
in charge of designing, prototyping, and coordinating an elite team of engineers building the robotic hardware that will transform the construction industry. The Mission: Design the Machines That Build Tomorrow
You will live at the intersection of precision design, manufacturing automation, and robotics hardware. Your mission is to take robotic systems from concept through to full-scale production. What You'll Actually Build
Mechanical Design & Engineering:
Design robotic systems, mechanisms, and end effectors for precision construction automation. Create detailed
CAD models
and assemblies using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar tools. Develop custom fixtures and tooling for automated manufacturing processes. Conduct
FEA analysis
and design validation for structurally optimized components. Robotics Hardware Integration:
Design and integrate motion systems with linear actuators,
servo motors , and precision systems. Specify and validate sensors (force, torque, encoders, LIDAR) for robotic applications. Develop kinematics and architectures for
multi-axis systems . Build and test prototypes in manufacturing environments. Manufacturing & Fabrication:
Design for manufacturability ( CNC, welding, sheet metal, 3D printing ). Optimize CAD-to-CAM workflows and create robust manufacturing documentation (drawings, BOMs). Collaborate with suppliers on custom components and develop quality control processes. Hands-On Technical Coordination:
Work alongside your 2-3 person team on critical components, serving as the lead technical expert. Review designs, test, and validate mechanical systems, ensuring mechanical excellence. Emphasized Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on mechanical engineering leader with deep expertise in robotics and motion systems. Core Technical Requirements
Proven Mechanical Engineering Excellence (5+ Years):
5+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience. Advanced
CAD expertise
(SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor). Demonstrated manufacturing and fabrication experience ( CNC, welding, sheet metal ). Proven ability to take designs from concept through
production . Robotics & Motion Systems Mastery:
Extensive experience in
robotic system design
including kinematics and mechanisms. Strong
motion control experience
with servo and actuator systems. Expertise in
sensor integration
for industrial applications. Deep knowledge of industrial automation principles. Technical Analysis & Validation:
Proficiency in
FEA and simulation
for design validation. Expertise in mechanical system testing and validation. Knowledge of material selection and
GD&T
for precision assemblies. Construction & Manufacturing Technology:
Experience with
digital fabrication
(CNC, toolpath optimization). Understanding of construction processes and materials, or experience with heavy machinery/robotics is strongly preferred. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Experience with industrial automation or construction robotics. Startup or fast-paced environment experience. Patents or published projects in robotics or mechanical systems. Location, Reporting, and Compensation
