Mableton, GA

$20.50 Hourly

Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Needed flexibility to work overtime and weekends based on business needs

Responsibilities

Maintains inventory records and conducts regular counts and audits

Operates forklift to remove and stock materials in a safe manner

Load / unload trailers, and ship / receive / validate all product deliveries and returns

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and vendors

Work closely with vendors to obtain stock items and spare parts and initiate purchase order requests

Monitor warranty information and tracks warranties on parts purchased

Review daily purchase orders, invoices and the charging of parts on repair, ensure accuracy and corrects discrepancies

Restock products as required / FIFO (First In, First Out) Organize / stage product to support daily warehouse operations

Execute daily inventory process: Demand count / parts, coolers and restocking products as needed

Verify AM changes and perform AM checkout process including random audits

Ensure proper handling / accounting for product damage as well as in house usage

Weekly ordering of product / supplies

EOM Inventory Process Document Return Inventory / Restock / Maintain Warehouse

Count FG (finished goods) for factory / EOM (end of month) counter / random audit

Maintain general housekeeping of warehouse including consolidation of product, sweeping, organizing, etc.

Light facility maintenance, cleaning parking lot, stock area, and other areas as needed

Maintain organized and efficient workflows, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks and projects

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

Two or more years prior forklift experience with a solid safety record, ideally in a fast-paced forklift environment

Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs

Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and business management software, SAP preferred

Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced forklift environment

Ability to work independently or with a team with solid communication skills

Solid problem solving and decision-making skills

Able to lift and pull 65 lbs. as needed while performing work

Must be able to do physical inspections of equipment that will require climbing, reaching, and extending arms overhead

Willingness and ability to work in a warehouse with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold and cold)
