Purpose of the Role You will support the Manufacturing Operations Manager in leading daily site operations, bridging strategy and execution. The role involves coordinating fabrication activities, managing teams, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and sustainably, and identifying continual improvement opportunities.
Core Responsibilities
Provide leadership for cross‑functional production teams, promoting safety, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Assist in managing the full production lifecycle from material staging through fabrication, assembly, and field deployment.
Monitor operations to align with production schedules, specifications, and quality expectations.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks to maintain steady operational flow.
Support collection and reporting of key operational metrics (productivity, material usage, throughput rates, safety performance).
Coordinate staffing, shift scheduling, and task assignments across production areas.
Manage inventory levels, coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure material availability.
Support implementation of standard operating procedures, collaborate with HSE and Quality teams for compliance.
Participate in audits, inspections, and incident reviews as needed.
Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and integrate sustainable practices aligning with Worley’s sustainability goals.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field (hands‑on experience considered).
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
Proven ability to coordinate teams, inspire collaboration, and lead with integrity.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, logistics, and material management systems.
Familiarity with lean principles, safety practices, and quality systems.
Strong analytical skills to interpret operational data and drive improvement.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
