GPD is currently seeking a Civil Designer in our Virginia Beach, VA office location to provide site designs of Federal focused programs. Responsibilities
Day-to-day job responsibilities: Site planning and coordination. Grading and storm water management design. Design coordination with internal engineers and architects. Background coordination with our internal team of surveyors, environmental specialists, and geotechnical crew. Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Civil Tech Engineering, or Engineering Design is preferred but not required. 3+ years’ experience with Site planning, engineering, and plan coordination. Familiar with and worked in Civil 3-D and AutoCAD. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask and stay organized while working on multiple projects. Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information. Valid Driver’s License is required. Benefits
