Lead Veterinarian – East Longmeadow, Massachusetts
A progressive, full-service veterinary hospital in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role. This is a prime opportunity for a veterinarian ready to combine hands‑on clinical work with medical leadership—while guiding a talented team in a supportive, modern environment.
The incoming doctor will oversee medical standards, mentor fellow veterinarians, and shape clinical protocols while maintaining an active caseload. Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and diagnostic care to patients
Lead and mentor the veterinary team while ensuring best practices in patient care
Develop, implement, and maintain medical protocols
Support client communication and education
Promote a collaborative, positive, and growth-focused team culture
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited institution
Eligible for or holding a current Massachusetts veterinary license
Proven leadership or mentorship experience preferred
Excellent communication, diagnostic, and surgical skills
Commitment to compassionate, high‑standard veterinary care
