Job Description Actuarial Summary:
A leading residual market management organization is seeking an accomplished FCAS-level Property & Casualty Actuary to lead rate analyses and develop actuarially sound pricing recommendations across multiple property lines. This individual will serve as a key technical and regulatory expert—driving model development, reserve reviews, and strategic pricing insights—while engaging directly with regulators, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant and data-driven actuarial solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Lead pricing analyses, reserve reviews, and rate filings for property programs.
Develop and implement actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and trend analysis.
Provide expert guidance on actuarial assumptions, methodologies, and strategy.
Integrate catastrophe model results (RMS, AIR) into pricing and exposure assessments.
Prepare regulatory filings and present findings to regulators and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with regulators and consultants to resolve inquiries and achieve approvals.
