Overview Badger Alloys, founded in 1966, is a family-owned full-service casting manufacturing group that includes an airset foundry, dedicated pattern facility, machine shop, on-site engineers, and rapid response technologies. The Role The HR Manager provides strategic leadership in developing and maintaining an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, continuous improvement, goal attainment, and organizational growth. The individual in this role will direct, plan, organize, and administer a comprehensive human resources program, including benefits, compensation and total rewards, talent acquisition, HR systems, learning and development, employee and labor relations, safety, wellness, and risk management. Responsibilities Develops and implements personnel policies and trains/advises management on policy interpretation; ensures compliance with applicable federal and state employment rules and regulations and investigates complaints. Partners with the benefits broker to design, implement, and administer all employee benefits programs, including plan design, enrollment, reporting, and record keeping; administers and ensures compliance with leave and accommodation programs. Directs the full life-cycle talent acquisition process, partnering with leaders across the company to assess talent and workforce needs. Directs the performance management process, including terms and conditions of employment, progressive discipline, annual performance reviews, and coaching/training sessions with employees. Oversees the workers compensation program, including claims reporting/investigation, claims processing, record keeping, and loss control and alternative work assignments. Serves as the primary manager within the HRIS; conducts complex administrative, operational, and management analysis and research projects to drive process improvement and employee engagement.
