Position Description Harmonia is seeking an experienced Endpoint Vulnerability Management SME / Technical Lead to provide expert‑level leadership in managing endpoint vulnerabilities across diverse platforms. The ideal candidate will design and implement strategies that proactively mitigate security risks, ensuring the resilience and compliance of endpoint systems across the organization. This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating endpoint vulnerabilities while ensuring adherence to federal cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise‑wide endpoint vulnerability management initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks.

Develop and implement comprehensive vulnerability management strategies and processes.

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to identify, assess, and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities in a timely manner.

Oversee deployment and configuration of endpoint security tools, scanners, and vulnerability assessment platforms.

Analyze vulnerability reports, prioritize remediation based on risk, and track resolution progress.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security and operations teams on vulnerability management best practices.

Monitor emerging threats and evolving endpoint technologies to adapt and strengthen security posture.

Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on vulnerability trends, remediation performance, and risk metrics for leadership review.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.

5‑10 years of experience in endpoint security, vulnerability management, or related cybersecurity disciplines.

Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency with endpoint protection platforms (EPP), endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, and vulnerability management software such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7.

Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment, and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, FISMA).

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with experience managing large‑scale vulnerability remediation programs.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams.

Desired

Experience with endpoint hardening, patch management, and configuration management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune).

Hands‑on experience in federal or large‑scale enterprise IT environments.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent preferred.

Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) for threat detection and correlation.

Experience leading or contributing to vulnerability management automation and orchestration efforts.
