Responsibilities
Collaborate with a fast‑growing team of applied scientists and software engineers to implement solutions and enhance customer experience.
Implement AI features toward a wide variety of business problems within the Dynamics 365 products portfolio while meeting rigorous quality standards.
Partner with engineering teams to integrate predictive insights into distributed systems and services.
Focus on aspects of the product, developing extensive knowledge in the domain and technical framework, notably in Large Language Models, and contribute to product development by staying current with industry trends.
Design and analyze experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to validate hypotheses and measure impact on customer experience and platform health.
Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor model performance and service health.
Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders through clear, actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality and effective analytics in decision‑making.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience
OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
OR equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related areas
2+ years of experience in applied machine learning, statistical modeling, and experimentation
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements. This includes Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years related experience
OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience
OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year related experience
1+ year experience creating publications (e.g., patents, peer‑reviewed papers)
Experience in developing generative AI applications
Compensation and Benefits Applied Sciences IC3 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD 100,600 – 199,000 per year. There is a different range for specific locations (San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metro). The local base pay range in those locations is USD 131,400 – 215,400 per year.
