The individual should demonstrate knowledge of marketing, fundraising, accounting, technology use, publishing, alumni recruitment, relationship building, grant writing, event planning, advancement of the school’s mission and philosophy, and the operations of the school. Responsibilities
Oversee the operations of the Advancement Office and its personnel Evaluate Communications Coordinator and Special Events Coordinator on an annual basis and discuss evaluation with principal Responsible for overall communication with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton constituents Responsible for meeting the goals established for fundraising efforts Responsible for the management of the email database Conduct research for large donor meetings, prospects of major gifts, and events Explore and develop endowment funding and donation procedures, as well as materials Keep current on endowment and giving procedures as dictated by the archdiocese Oversee, manage, and aid in the school’s major fundraising endeavors to include the Annual Fund, Golf Tournament, Auction Gala, and other fundraisers that may occur throughout the school year Facilitate various special events and activities with our school families, students, parish, and faculty Help to build upon our community outreach activities Provide for donor acknowledgement efforts, such as receptions, letters, and plaques Maintain donor database, and ensure accurate and through reporting techniques Coordinate an alumni program to include newsletters, an alumni website page, and special events and recognitions Establish and maintain relationships with donors, including foundations and grant providers Research, write, facilitate and follow up on grant requests Implement new ideas for improving the image of the school Work with the principal to ensure the implementation of the school’s marketing and fundraising ventures Responsible for ordering all logo-related supplies for the Advancement Office and School Responsible for the Advancement office budget Job details
