Overview

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager with a minimum of 10 years’ documented HSSE experience in the Oil and Gas and/or Construction sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety management across multiple client sites across America, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance. Key Attributes

Strong diplomatic and communication skills, capable of managing sensitive issues and aligning multiple parties Proven track record supervising high-risk site activities in operational environments Confident in leading field-based safety coaching and workforce engagement Sound theoretical knowledge of HSE legislation and international best practices Able to work autonomously and proactively, following both client and company procedures 10+ years in Oil & Gas, Civil, or Construction industries 10+ years in dedicated HSSE roles Degree in a technical or engineering discipline (preferred) Certified OHS Professional under relevant national or EU legislation Valid Confined Space Entry and Working at Height certifications Recognised occupational health and safety qualifications Operational HSE experience across construction and asset maintenance projects Familiar with civil works, building construction, and commissioning activities Strong understanding of HazID, risk assessments, JSA, and PTW systems Working knowledge of IOGP and other international HSE standards Experience with brownfield pipeline or distribution system sites is an advantage Fit to perform inspections in confined spaces and at height – OGUK medical or equivalent recommended Desirable Qualifications

NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent) Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 Key Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with PTW and high-risk activity controls Review and support RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) Deliver Toolbox Talks and Pre-Start Safety Briefings Provide on-site coaching and mentoring for contractor teams Identify and report unsafe acts/conditions, with clear corrective actions Monitor and follow up on safety actions and issue close-outs Support implementation of corporate and client HSSE programmes Deliver internal training aligned to client expectations and industry norms Support emergency plan reviews and participate in exercise coordination Submit regular HSE performance reports to both client and internal stakeholders Seniority level
