to join our firm. The position offers growth, opportunities for advancement, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
Serve tax-exempt clients in the Healthcare, Higher Ed, and Nonprofit industries in a high-impact manner, demonstrating command of a major area of specialization. Demonstrate deep technical skills and have related industry knowledge. Excel at engagement management and operational excellence. Assist clients with meeting their tax and day-to-day compliance needs. Research and draft technical tax memoranda on various tax issues for clients. Review and sign a variety of exempt organization returns and serve as a subject-matter expert when appropriate. Develop and mentor staff and oversee client engagement teams. What You Will Need : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and/or professional services firm Experience specializing in tax-exempt organizations preferred CPA required (JD or Enrolled Agent may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification) Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities Click here to learn about your hiring rights.
