Overview
Director of Sales and Marketing position with Johnson Service Group (JSG). Direct hire opportunity with a manufacturer of small mechanical components in the Hicksville, NY area. Pay up to $185,000. Responsibilities
Provide the vision and direction / management of all Sales and Business Development operations (both Domestic and Foreign). Lead both internal and external sales teams, applications engineering, customer service operations / ecommerce, and operations. Education & Experience / Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering, Business or Marketing disciplines; MBA preferred. Minimum of ten (10) years as a Senior Level Sales Leader in a manufacturing or industrial company. Sales experience in aerospace, medical, and/or automation industries preferred. Proven experience in managing and directing all sales and business development operations (strategic and operational), including market competitiveness, tactical sales, pricing, ecommerce, and distribution channel strategy. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts. Outstanding consultative selling abilities with a track record in launching new products or entering new markets. Experience with a specific sales methodology and sales funnel management. Strong administrative and people-management skills. Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth.
