Responsibilities
Consult with clients to identify their specific needs and challenges and match them with suitable product solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential clients, showcasing product features and benefits.
Develop customized solutions for clients by tailoring product offerings to meet their specific requirements.
Craft detailed proposals that outline the proposed solution, pricing, and implementation plan.
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, providing post-sale support, and addressing technical concerns.
Develop and execute market surveys, lab evaluations, proof of concepts, and pilots of various physical security technologies.
Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Participate in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle.
Generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions.
Participate in establishing and gaining approval for requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc., that provide a common reference point for hardware and software developers.
Define the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan.
Develop system design solutions that satisfy the system requirements and fulfill the functional analysis.
Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation, analysis and allocation, conducting requirements reviews, and developing system architectures.
Develop scenarios (threads) and an Operational Concept describing interactions between the system, the user, and the environment to satisfy operational and support needs.
Review and/or approve system engineering documentation to ensure processes and specifications meet system needs and are complete.
Conduct quantitative analysis in non-functional system performance areas such as reliability, maintainability, vulnerability, survivability, etc.
Establish and follow a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces.
Prepare time-line analysis diagrams illustrating the flow of time-dependent functions.
Establish a process to formally control and manage changes to requirements, gain stakeholder buy-in, and ensure traceability.
Assess each risk to the program and determine probability and impact in accordance with an approved risk management plan.
Qualifications Position / Candidate Requirements
High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems or
Associates with 8+ years of experience or
Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years experience or
Master's Degree with 3+ years experience
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
