Job Description Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Product Owner to join our Software Technology Solutions (STS) R&D team based in San Diego or remotely with occasional travel. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving and leading the product vision, strategy and roadmap for our software development platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, aligning features with measurable outcomes that bring value to our customers. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to understand clinical, legal, regulatory, and customer support requirements, ensuring product readiness and implementing a plan for regular releases.

Responsibilities
Product Vision & Leadership: Provide vision and direction to the scrum team throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements Definition & Analysis: Develop crisp product and feature scope documents to drive product specifications and architecture, ensuring a clear understanding of objectives and priorities for the product owner and development team.
Backlog Management: Prepare and prioritize the product backlog to ensure efficient workflow and alignment with the product vision and business value.
Stakeholder Communication: Keep clients and collaborators informed on product status and lead product release plans, setting expectations for new functionalities.
Project Management & Dependency Oversight: Lead in mitigating impediments, govern change management, adjust plans, and manage dependencies to facilitate successful release/sprint goals.
Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software related field.
3+ years of experience as Product Owner or related roles.
3+ years of experience working with PaaS or SaaS products.
Strong understanding of cloud computing, APIs, and developer tools.
Familiarity with Product Management tools (e.g., Aha!, Jira).
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in team settings.
Good organizational and time management capabilities.
Experience with Agile practices and principles.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Creative thinking with a focus on product improvement.
Understanding of product feature prioritization.
Involvement in product roadmap development.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Master's Degree Preferred
Additional Information For most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. Salary Range $80,600.00 - $133,000.00 USD Annual
