Director of Operations
to help shape the future of our restaurants and lead operational excellence across all locations. About the Role The
Director of Operations
will oversee and optimize performance across multiple restaurants, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and profitability. This leader will work directly with ownership and field management to develop scalable systems, strengthen operational standards, and enhance the customer and employee experience at every level. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency, profitability, and growth. Analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Align operations with company goals and expansion plans.
Operational Excellence
Create and maintain an Operations Playbook outlining SOPs, quality standards, and best practices. Standardize kitchen, front-of-house, and service procedures to ensure consistency and compliance. Oversee food safety, health, and quality assurance across all locations.
Team & Culture Development
Lead, coach, and mentor restaurant operators and managers. Design training and leadership development programs for all levels of staff. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Marketing, HR, and Supply Chain teams to support promotions, staffing, and product innovation. Serve as a key liaison between ownership and field teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Innovation & Technology
Integrate new technologies (POS, AI tools, inventory systems) to improve efficiency. Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and enhance resource management.
Crisis & Performance Management
Manage operational challenges with data-driven decision-making. Monitor KPIs including COGS, profit margins, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Qualifications 3+ years of experience in
multi-unit restaurant operations Strong budgeting and P&L management experience Proven track record in
training, SOP implementation, and scaling operations Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills Familiarity with
Toast ,
HotSchedules , and Microsoft Office tools Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Knowledge of Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies a plus Why Join Paco’s?
