About the role: As a Group Director of Programmatic & Media, you’ll lead the Programmatic Media (P&M) team. The P&M team develops and executes media plans spanning programmatic and direct media partnerships. You will own staffing allocation, internal processes related to finance and revenue documentation, coordination across internal teams (AdOps, Analytics, Tech), and drive the strategic vision for growth and innovation for the unit. You will work with team leads to provide training on programmatic buys, ecosystem updates, and best practices for clients. You will participate in new business opportunities and reviews for quarterly business reviews to ensure alignment with best practices and programmatic strategy. Responsibilities

Set the overall Programmatic & Direct media strategy to drive client outcomes, retention, cross-sell revenue growth, and new business opportunities. Act as sponsor and point of escalation for key accounts running programmatic media. Implement internal processes to improve workflow and efficiency across the P&M team and other internal groups. Manage team bandwidth, resource planning, and account allocations. Provide subject matter expertise on executing programmatic and direct media campaigns across platforms and publishers. Participate in thought leadership and act as a Subject Matter Expert for internal and external opportunities (e.g., speaking engagements). Drive the overall vision for the team and support shifts in go-to-market strategy as the industry evolves. About You

10+ years of experience in media planning and programmatic display, native, video, CTV, and audio. 5+ years of direct people management experience, managing a team of at least 10 people. Experience with at least two of the following: DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, StackAdapt; and guidance on when to use one over the other. Experience presenting programmatic and/or direct media performance and strategy in a client-facing setting to senior leadership. Very high attention to detail and ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information. General understanding of Search and Social digital media tactics and how they interact with programmatic media. Solid grasp of leading DSPs and a recommendation for when to implement PMP and PG in media plans. Understanding of analytic platforms such as Google Analytics and advanced measurement (e.g., MTA, MMM). Nice to Have

Hands-on experience in Google Tag Manager & DoubleClick Campaign Manager. Experience leading cross-channel performance marketing efforts, or leading accounts running Search & Social alongside Programmatic & Media. Compensation: Monks provides a good-faith salary range at posting; final pay is determined by factors including job-related considerations. Salary range: $155,000—$210,000 USD. About Monks
