The Staples Media Network team operates with a startup culture within a company with decades of experience. We have an established, successful retail media network growing at an impressive rate, with room for innovation to drive scale. We are looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable wearing multiple hats as the team evolves. You will be a key player in managing partnership relations and sales growth. The Staples Media Network team develops products, programs and measurement solutions that drive revenue and program adoption/renewal. As the Ad Solutions Manager, you will partner closely with Product, Ad Operations, GTM and Sales to support growth of Staples Media Network. This role will assist in managing highly visible growth initiatives, project manage multiple teams and timelines, and present to executive steering committees on a regular basis. Successful candidates will leverage a strong understanding of ecommerce, media, and both customer and ecommerce analytics to support data-centric decision making. This role must deliver a world-class and innovative experience delivering mutual benefit for Staples and our network of vendor partners. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong martech/adtech background and/or those with 1-2+ years of ecommerce, paid media, product innovation and/or project management experience. The role requires an excellent collaborator, communicator, and manager with a strong bias toward action. The successful candidate is a problem solver in a fast-moving and diverse environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. We are seeking a proactive, independent, innovative person for this role. What you’ll be doing

Subject matter expert for Staples Media Network onsite and offsite tech stack including programmatic advertising, 1p data strategies and onboarding, retail media industry best practices Main representative for SMN within the product and engineering organization Support new product go-to-market Manage the product prioritization process within Staples and evaluate the existing landscape outside of the Digital Media team Contribute to business requirements that shape product roadmaps; inform business cases for key growth initiatives Influence design and scope of products and tools to ensure the end result meets business needs Influence improvements to Staples media ecosystem across tech platforms including DSPs, ad serving, data onboarding, order management Support 3rd party tech partnerships across SMN’s tech stack, and drive enhancements to these platforms Remain up to date in all Retail Media product offerings to ensure SMN provides best-in-class products and services to vendors Perform audits of existing products and manage prioritization of improvements Develop a deep understanding of key performance indicators used to measure performance/success Regularly test and review site analytics for program optimization ideas Contribute to regular communications regarding progress and impact Contribute ideas for incremental opportunities and innovation What you bring to the table

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience in Adtech, Commerce Media, Paid Media, Product innovation, or project management What’s needed - Preferred Qualifications

Experience in commerce media and supporting digital media strategies Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with demonstrated experience in fact-based analysis Proactive, self-motivated work style and ability to collaborate broadly within cross-functional teams Understanding of merchandising sales and margin objectives Expertise in managing multiple projects and changing priorities, as well as partnering with technical teams to deliver results Ability to communicate the business value of digital media and drive supplier sales We Offer
