LHH is seeking a Marketing Manager for our boutique investment client in the Baltimore area. Are you passionate about brand storytelling and narrative development? Our client, a small, high-performing investment firm, is looking for a creative, hands-on marketer to elevate their brand presence and drive engagement across digital channels. About the Role
You’ll be the architect of the firm’s brand story—translating complex concepts into compelling, accessible narratives for a range of audiences. You’ll lead the creation and ongoing refresh of marketing materials, manage the firm’s and founder’s social media presence, and ensure all communications reflect the firm’s values and vision. Responsibilities
Develop and refine the firm’s brand narrative and messaging across all platforms. Create, update, and professionalize marketing materials (pitch decks, fact sheets, white papers, case studies, etc.). Own and execute a social media strategy for both the company and its executive leadership, including content planning, writing, and publishing. Partner with leadership to generate thought leadership content and support executive visibility. Respond to ad hoc requests from the sales team and support business development initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and insights for marketing collateral. Ensure all communications and materials meet industry standards and compliance requirements. Help streamline processes for marketing operations and support the adoption of new tools or systems (CRM, databases, etc.). Contribute to a collaborative, close-knit team environment where everyone wears multiple hats. What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand strategy—ideally with exposure to financial services, investing, or professional services. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Demonstrated experience managing social media for a company and/or executive. Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Comfort working in a small, entrepreneurial team—resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently. Familiarity with compliance or regulated environments is a plus (but not required). Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Constant Contact, CRM systems, analytics platforms). Location
Baltimore, MD – Onsite 4 days/week (Monday–Thursday), with flexibility to work from home on Fridays. Compensation & Benefits
