This job is a member of the Inflight team

You’ll be at the heart of the inflight administration team making a real impact everyday and ensuring smooth coordination across departments

What you’ll do

Compiles data for flight attendant absences and qualifications

Processes flight attendant performance and attendance letters

Coordinates employee retirement, separation and reinstatement

Completes flight attendant reimbursements

Provides monthly departmental reporting

All you’ll need for success Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalency

Experience in working effectively under deadline pressure

Must have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify recommended solutions

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT or equivalent degree

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) with strong Excel skills

Knowledge of American Airlines (AA) policies & procedures

Knowledge of flight attendant CBA

Ability to communicate technical data clearly and swiftly

Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to maintain the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality

Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, and maintain flexibility in a fast‑paced, union environment

Ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills

Ability to be a team player – works well with others, willing to help out where needed, etc.

Ability to work with large data sets using Excel, including common data analysis formulas, Pivot tables and charts

Ability to work with management to prioritize business and information needs

Ability to locate and define new process improvement opportunities
