Audit Advisor - Assurance (Audit Services) Manager role located in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a full-time position with standard business hours. Responsibilities
Plan and perform audit procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAS, including PCAOB rules and regulations, for private and public company financial statements prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Provide audit services that demonstrate value in the audit process beyond regulatory requirements. Apply knowledge of SEC rules and regulations over financial reporting. Apply data analytics to deliver high-quality audits and provide business insight to clients. Identify audit risks, obtain evidence, and generate insights for clients. Prepare, analyze, and verify financial statements and other records using accepted accounting and statistical procedures to assess financial condition and support financial planning. Provide accounting insights to clients, including complex issues such as revenue recognition, share-based compensation, business combinations, and internal controls. Understand the client’s industry, key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business and economic developments and their impact on the client. Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills; monitor progress to deliver quality client services. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks; cultivate business development opportunities. Engage in full-time employment with a Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week (8:30 am – 5:30 pm). Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field and 5 years of progressive financial accounting/audit experience; or Master’s degree with 4 years of related experience. 2 years of experience supervising planning and execution of audits of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) per U.S. GAAS and U.S. GAAP. 2 years of experience supervising audits of financial statements prepared per U.S. GAAS and U.S. GAAP. 2 years of experience supervising audit teams of two or more staff members. 2 years of audit experience including SOX (ICFR) with a PCAOB-registered public accounting firm. 2 years of experience with audits of management review controls and testing of information produced by the entity. 1 year of experience using audit documentation software. Active US CPA certification; or foreign accounting credential with sufficient coursework/experience to obtain US CPA certification (as required by state Board of Accountancy). Domestic travel up to 30% to serve client needs. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. What We Offer
