Clinical Lab Scientist (Generalist OR CGMBS), 1 year contract (Sun - Thurs 1st Shift). One of San Diego’s leading biotech companies is looking for a competent, reliable CLS to add to their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to build upon your industry experience and refine your clinical testing expertise with high complexity assays. What you will do
Perform molecular genetic testing on clinical specimens using PCR and sequencing (NGS) Review and report patient results Perform quality control and quality assurance activities as needed Comply with all applicable local, state and federal laboratory, quality, and safety requirements Who you are / Qualifications
California Department of Public Health Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) generalist license OR Clinical Genetic Molecular Biology Scientist (CGMBS) license (no exceptions) 3+ years experience in high complexity clinical laboratory testing, preferably in molecular diagnostics Experience with molecular testing (PCR, Microarray, Sanger/NGS sequencing) is a plus Compensation
Compensation is determined by several factors including skillset, experience, and location. The expected range for this role is $36 to $50 per hour. This range is an estimate and may vary based on qualifications and experience. How to apply
