Staff Attorney – Insurance Bad Faith (San Antonio, Dallas, Austin or Houston)
Dykema's San Antonio office seeks a staff attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience. Candidates will also be considered for placement in our Dallas, Austin or Houston offices. Previous experience with first-party insurance/bad faith litigation is required; experience representing insurance carriers in such matters is preferred. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines. Candidates must have strong writing and oral advocacy skills. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and arguing motions and other pleadings, significant case development / management experience and experience with local state and federal courts. This position follows a hybrid in-office schedule. However, fully remote arrangements may be considered after onboarding and integration for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and a high level of reliability. All candidates must be self-motivated and capable of managing tasks independently with consistent follow-through. Compensation will vary based on experience and billable hour requirement.
