$35.71/hr - $51.78/hr Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for demonstrating leadership throughout the clinical support team and providing safe, effective and efficient nursing care. Job Functions
Assists and participates in Mohs surgery Screens patient phone calls for urgency of need and prioritizes stat requests Advises patient of treatment when appropriate according to clinic policy Maintains educational material for patients and staff Provides patient care when necessary to assist clinical personnel Performs room turnover in patient rooms between cases and at the end of day Develops, maintains and updates standing orders with providers; follows refill request guidelines Demonstrates leadership throughout the clinical support team Identifies, develops, implements, updates and maintains clinic efficiencies, best practices and clinical policies and procedures Serves as the primary clinic contact for operations manager, providers and clinic support staff and effectively communicates and coordinates with various departments throughout the organization and in the community Serves as the primary EMR user and provides end user education Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Education/Work Experience
Graduate from a School of Nursing 1 year of experience in a clinical setting Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Skills in assessment of patient condition and taking vital signs Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above Skills in preparing and maintaining records and reports Ability to effectively handle high-stress fast paced environment Ability to multi-task Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above License/Certifications
Current RN licensure Current CPR certification Preferred Qualifications
Certification in specialty area Experience with Mohs surgery Compensation
