Overview

Description : Performs direct patient care; electrocardiograms (ECG's); stress testing; cardiac monitors; and/or analyses cardiac monitor data and completes monitor reports. Location : UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department : Electrocardiography FTE : Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift : Nights Pay : $21.49 - $27.94 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Responsibilities

Performs in all departmental specialties and patient populations and is able to assist new hires and/or student interns. Performs responsibilities of underlying job(s) and takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues including productivity and quality management. Facilitates effective communication with providers regarding complex patients' needs while analyzing and reporting cardiac monitors as indicated at position level. Oversees equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements

Cert Cardiographic Tech Certified EKG Technician National Certified ECG Technician (NCET) Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED Required Licensure/ Certification: Cardiographic Technician (CCT) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), OR Certified EKG Technician (CET) by National Health Career Association (NHA) OR Certified EKG Technician (CEKG) by National Workforce Career Association (NWCA) OR EKG Technician Certification (ETC) by American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) OR NCET through National Center for Competency Testing Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant experience BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. Card must be valid through sixty days after hire. Benefits
