Part-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Fairfield, CA
MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our patient-centered opioid addiction treatment team. Description At MedMark, we take a patient-centered approach to opioid addiction treatment. We design individualized plans in the early days of treatment. Our clinics provide physical evaluations, drug screenings, case management services, relapse prevention education, and after-care planning. Some locations offer methadone detox, buprenorphine maintenance, and group counseling. Our services aim to help patients achieve long-term sobriety and improve quality of life. Primary Job Function
Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment. Obtain patient history and perform physical examinations. Document in the EMR; enter orders for methadone dosing or write buprenorphine prescriptions. Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications in the Medical Director’s absence. Monitor patient dosages in collaboration with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses. Other related duties as determined by supervisor. Qualifications | Education | Certifications
Must be licensed and in good standing in the State of California. Must have active DEA registration. One year of addiction medicine experience required. Drug rehabilitation knowledge preferred but not required. Salary
Salary ranges from $68 to $70.02 an hour. The final salary will be based on experience, education, specialty, and training. Benefits
