We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Marketing Specialist with a strong background in copywriting and a "doer" mentality to join our dynamic team. With a focus on email marketing and sales collateral creation, this role requires someone who thrives on delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines. Role Accountability and Duties
Develop, write, and optimize engaging email marketing campaigns using the Eloqua platform, ensuring alignment with audience segmentation strategies and content calendars. Build and maintain an email marketing calendar to drive consistent communication and improve engagement for both attendees and exhibitors. Create and design impactful marketing materials, including sales collateral, attendee development assets, and other promotional content to support event goals. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., digital marketing, sales, creative, and marketing automation) to execute and refine strategic marketing initiatives. Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights to improve effectiveness and ROI. Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation. Partner with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs and ensure alignment with brand standards. Support the Marketing Manager in the development and execution of marketing plans that align with internal initiatives and event objectives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent years’ work. 1-2 years of experience in marketing, copywriting, or communications, with a strong emphasis on email marketing and content creation. Proficiency in marketing tools such as Eloqua, Adobe Creative Cloud, project management software, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint). Working knowledge of HTML, with an eye for design and meticulous attention to detail. Team player who collaborates effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders with a solutions oriented approach to challenges. Experience in developing and executing email campaign strategies, including segmentation and content calendar management. Skilled in copywriting and storytelling, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and channels. Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation. Creative and innovative thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in prioritization, organization, and project management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. Bonus: Experience in the event industry or with event marketing. This role requires 5-10% domestic travel for business purposes. Additional Information
