Aquatic Design Group (ADG) is a full-service aquatic architecture and engineering firm specializing in swimming pool and water feature design. We provide architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical design services, transforming concepts into fully detailed contract documents. Our projects include college and university pools, community pools, competition pools, resort hotel pools and spas, as well as fountains and natural water elements like lakes, streams, and waterfalls. We are dedicated to turning ideas into reality.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Designer Drafter located in Carlsbad, CA. The Designer Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical design drawings for swimming pools and water features. Daily tasks include developing designs from concept to completion, ensuring accuracy and quality in all drawings, and collaborating with the project team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software
Experience with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drafting and design
Ability to interpret and develop detailed design documents and drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
Experience in aquatic design or construction is preferred
