We are seeking a highly skilled
Wireless Network Engineer
to lead the planning, forecasting, implementation, and resource identification for complex wireless network systems. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing wireless network enhancements and architecture, while continuously recommending improvements to optimize performance and reliability. Major Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in wireless network planning, architecture design, and engineering. Design and implement wireless network enhancements to support business needs. Integrate communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, signaling links, and protocols into complete wireless network configurations. Evaluate new wireless products and technologies for potential integration. Resolve complex wireless network issues and develop approved methods of procedure (MOPs). Recommend and implement improvements to wireless network infrastructure and performance. Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Proficient understanding of wireless networking concepts including OSI Model, TCP/IP, and related protocols. Strong knowledge of wireless industry standards and specifications (IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants). Experience with Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet, and Transport technologies. Skilled in wireless network design, architecture, and topology. Familiarity with wireless network devices and appliances. Experience / Preferred Skills
Tools & Software: Proficient in network design software such as Microsoft Visio. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP) preferred. Additional vendor-specific training (e.g., Cisco, Ariss, Ruckus) is a plus. 5+ years of hands-on experience in wireless network engineering. 2–5 years of experience in wireless network design and implementation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
