Job Summary
Our client is a fast-growing, PE-backed early education company that has expanded to 5 schools in just two years, with plans to double that in the next 12 months. Their mission is to deliver joyful, high-quality learning experiences to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
This founder‑led, mission‑driven startup is scaling rapidly through acquisition and is now hiring its first in‑house Marketing Manager to replace their agency. This full‑stack role will own everything from paid media and SEO to creative direction and reporting across multiple school locations.
You will partner directly with the founding team to
Drive enrollment through local campaign execution
Build and unify the company’s brand identity
Develop data‑driven marketing systems that scale

Marketing Manager Benefits
Base Salary: $100,000–$150,000, depending on experience

Marketing Manager Requirements
3–7+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on performance‑based media (Meta, Google)
Proven ability to manage multi‑site campaigns (e.g., franchise, healthcare, education, or service orgs)
Experience with SEO fundamentals and improving local web visibility
Ability to guide creative direction (assets will be produced externally)
Highly proactive self‑starter who thrives in ambiguity and startup environments
Strong analytical mindset; uses data to drive iteration and strategy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working onsite 4 days/week in NYC
Nice‑to‑Haves
Experience in early childhood education, multi‑site healthcare, or pet care
Exposure to businesses growing through acquisition
Background working with founders or executive teams in lean orgs
Track record of evolving into leadership roles

Marketing Manager Responsibilities
Own the full marketing function, replacing external agency resources
Strategize, launch, and manage paid digital campaigns (Meta, Google) for each location
Develop and manage monthly marketing reports (performance, trends, recommendations)
Approve and direct creative asset production in partnership with offshore and freelance designers
Build seasonal campaign calendars tied to enrollment goals (e.g., Back to School, Holidays, Summer)
Shape brand identity and messaging to connect with parents and local communities
Oversee SEO efforts, optimize web presence and local listings
Identify and test new offline and local marketing tactics (events, open houses)
Lay groundwork for future team buildout as company scales
Collaborate closely with co‑founders on marketing priorities, budgets, and strategic direction
