CAD Designer, Design Engineering
CelLink is seeking a skilled CAD Designer with SolidWorks experience to support the development of next‑generation flexible circuit interconnects for EV and energy applications. This role requires a detail-oriented, task‑focused individual who can quickly translate design concepts into precise 3D models and 2D drawings. Ideal candidates will have experience with flex circuit design, stampings, plastic injection molding, and/or etched FPCs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Design 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of wire harnesses, flexible printed circuits, and battery pack interconnects using CAD best practices and processes.
Incorporate design guidelines and DFM feedback to ensure parts are manufacturable and meet functional requirements.
Assist with the creation and release of engineering components and assembly drawings.
Assist with 2D geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Perform CAD data transfer to internal stakeholders.
Educational Requirements
Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, CAD design, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in CAD design of electrical and/or automotive components (SolidWorks preferred).
Experience managing large 3D files (components and assemblies).
Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and technologies.
Strong organization skills and detail‑oriented mindset.
Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast‑paced start‑up setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Location and Base Pay San Carlos, CA Base Pay: $80,000—$90,000 USD
