CGI Federal, Inc, (CGI) is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our technology team in Jacksonville, FL as the primary work location, onsite 100%. This position offers the opportunity to develop both front- and back-end elements of web-based, mission-critical applications that directly support logistics operations. The successful candidate will work on innovative web applications and digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, using an agile software development and DevSecOps approach to deliver timely and iterative solutions that satisfy user needs. Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies Build robust back-end APIs and microservices to support applications servicing aviation logistics operations Integrate databases and manage data architecture for mission-critical applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system administrators, analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver solutions Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for high-traffic environments Conduct thorough testing including code, regression, functional, usability, security, unit, integration, and pre-user acceptance testing Perform corrective maintenance actions as required Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed systems and applications Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and code reviews Support deployment and DevOps activities including CI/CD pipeline management Qualifications
US Citizenship is required with ability to obtain Secret security clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience, with certifications preferred Minimum 3 years of professional experience in full stack web development Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js Strong experience with back-end development using languages such as .NET and Go Solid understanding of database systems including SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with RESTful API design and development Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies Customer-focused and strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Desired qualifications/non-essential skills
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of military or government systems and protocols Security+ certification or willingness to obtain Experience with microservices architecture Familiarity with military logistics or aviation operations Experience with real-time applications using WebSockets Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices Experience with mobile application development (React Native, Flutter) Familiarity with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js) Knowledge of performance optimization techniques Experience with automated testing and deployment tools Experience with CQRS development patterns Compensation and benefits
CGI is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range. The current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $154,300.00, varies by skill, experience, and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are made per case.
